Your campsite in detail
“Nested in the heart of Calvados, the campsite is located in the countryside, surrounded by the quietest nature there is. On site, there are 3 aviaries with various birds (chickens, peacocks, pheasants…) and also enclosures with goats and ponies. Two ponds, one small 1,000m²
and a large 1 hectare one are accessible to the campsite’s customers who
want to practice catching white fish (carp, roaches, breams…). The
covered and heated swimming pool which boasts a waterslide is opened
from April to the end of September. A tennis court, a multi-sport court
(basketball, football, handball…), table tennis tables as well as
inflatable games for children are available during the season. There is
also a playground, with a slide, 2 towers and a “”bird’s nest”” swing,
suitable for disabled children.”
Mobile homes and canvas bungalows are available to rent, as well as plots of land to set up caravans, tents or motorhomes. To rent a place for groups, the gîte “Le Moulin” caters for 12 to 14 people. It is located on the other side of the street from the campsite. On the campsite, there is a venue ideal for birthdays, weddings or family gatherings, available every weekend for up to 80 people, which allows guests to sleep on site in our mobile homes.
Located between Caen and Saint-Lô (about 30 minutes by car), only 15km from Bayeux, the l’Escapade campsite offers an amazing stay in a wonderful setting. From countryide escapes to historical landmarks, you will enjoy a convenient location to check out what Normandy has to offer: take a tour of the D-Day Beaches, Mont-Saint-Michel and the Bayeux Cathedral, visit the cities of Caen, Bayeux or explore the Souterroscopes of Caumont. Or you can simply enjoy relaxing days at the campsite to fish, swim in the pool and visit the mini-farms, and make the most of all the children’s facilities. Relaxation, fishing, sightseeing, sports activities and rest, everything is possible at the Escapade.
