Le Grand Large benefits an exceptional geographical situation. Our green area in Normandy is situated directly on the sea shore with a beautiful sandy beach and an heated indoor swimming pool,
Only 4 kms from the village of les Pieux and 25 kms from Cherbourg, le Grand Large offer to you the tranquility with all local services you need. Our 5 stars campsite in Normandy with sea shore is much appreciated with his natural protected area and far from noise in the peacful country side. If you come with your tent or rent a location, everybody can find hapinness, hospitality, comfort and cleanliness with our equipement (heated sanitary with baby area, washing machine and dryer…), Our renting cottage for 2 till 6 persons have a wooden terrace, kitchen (with microwave, cooker, fridge, cutlery, cooking ustensils, cleaning equipement…), a living room with english satelitte TV, bathroom with wash-strand, shower and separated toilets. it has blankets and pillows. We have many services who can help you to have really good holiday like the bar, the bread and pastries every day and our take away is open in july and august.
Our aquatic area with heated indoor swimming pool, whirpool and padding is open every day to have fun with your family. You can find also an outdoor swimming pool with children’s padding pool who is heated from 08/06 till 08/09. Everything is thought for everybody to spend unforgettable moments with our outdoor facilities as the large playgrounds (swings, slides …), the inflatable structure and the trampoline, the football field or for the biggest the tennis court (free in low season), jeu de boules …
Inside, you can appreciate our animation room with the library, the TV and games or ping pong room. In july and August, some activites are offer to have a good time like jeu de boules, children games or concert… In Le Grand Large the most famous atttaction is to watch the sunset direct on the sea.
On reception desk, you can ask all informations you need about our Normandy country and espacially about La Hague ( hiking, museum, boat trip for the English channel, restaurant…). Possibility to buy some postcard or little remember. We have Internet acces (wireless) and computer for use at the reception, Paying both.
